### sec.85 Provision for advertising of personal injury services and touting This section applies to an act or omission happening before the commencement of this section that contravened chapter 3, part 1 as in force before the commencement and had not been dealt with or finally dealt with at the commencement. The Legal Services Commissioner may, after the commencement— investigate, or continue the investigation of, the act or omission under the Legal Profession Act 2007 ; or bring proceedings in relation to the act or omission under this Act. s 85 ins 2006 No. 24 s 17 amd 2007 No. 24 s 770 sch 1 (sec.85-ssec.1) This section applies to an act or omission happening before the commencement of this section that contravened chapter 3, part 1 as in force before the commencement and had not been dealt with or finally dealt with at the commencement. (sec.85-ssec.2) The Legal Services Commissioner may, after the commencement— investigate, or continue the investigation of, the act or omission under the Legal Profession Act 2007 ; or bring proceedings in relation to the act or omission under this Act. - (a) investigate, or continue the investigation of, the act or omission under the Legal Profession Act 2007 ; or - (b) bring proceedings in relation to the act or omission under this Act.
