### sec.93 Protection from liability An officer of the ombudsman does not incur civil liability for an act done, or omission made, honestly and without negligence under this Act. For protection from civil liability in relation to the ombudsman as the inspector of detention services, or another officer of the ombudsman performing a function under the Inspector of Detention Services Act 2022 , see the Public Sector Act 2022 , section 269 . If subsection (1) prevents a civil liability attaching to an officer of the ombudsman, the liability attaches instead to the State.
