### sec.43 Offence to assault or obstruct ombudsman or officer of ombudsman
A person must not assault or obstruct the ombudsman or an officer of the ombudsman in the performance of duties under this Act.
Maximum penalty—40 penalty units or 6 months imprisonment.
In this section—
assault has the meaning given by the Criminal Code , section 245 .
obstruct includes hinder, resist and attempt to obstruct.
