### sec.33 Way of giving information
If a person is required to give information under this division, whether or not through answering questions, the ombudsman may—
require the information to be given on oath; and
administer the required oath.
The oath to be taken by a person for this section is an oath that the information the person will give will be true.
A person required to give information on oath must not refuse to be sworn.
Maximum penalty for subsection (3) —100 penalty units.
