### sec.31K Declaration may be in form of electronic document and electronically signed
A declaration may be in the form of an electronic document, and may be electronically signed, if—
the witness, signatory, substitute signatory or another person in relation to the making, signing or witnessing of the declaration is present by audio visual link; and
the declaration is made, signed and witnessed in accordance with division 5 .
Subsection (1) does not apply to a declaration lodged or deposited in the land registry or water allocations register.
To remove any doubt, it is declared that subsection (1) applies to a declaration that is supporting evidence under the participation rules within the meaning of the Electronic Conveyancing National Law (Queensland) for a document lodged under section 7 of that Law.

(sec.31K-ssec.1) A declaration may be in the form of an electronic document, and may be electronically signed, if— the witness, signatory, substitute signatory or another person in relation to the making, signing or witnessing of the declaration is present by audio visual link; and the declaration is made, signed and witnessed in accordance with division 5 .
(sec.31K-ssec.2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a declaration lodged or deposited in the land registry or water allocations register.
(sec.31K-ssec.3) To remove any doubt, it is declared that subsection (1) applies to a declaration that is supporting evidence under the participation rules within the meaning of the Electronic Conveyancing National Law (Queensland) for a document lodged under section 7 of that Law.
- (a) the witness, signatory, substitute signatory or another person in relation to the making, signing or witnessing of the declaration is present by audio visual link; and
