### sec.42AD Leases etc. over national park (Cape York Peninsula Aboriginal land)
A lease, agreement, licence, permit or other authority over, or in relation to, land in a national park (Cape York Peninsula Aboriginal land), other than an agreement or a licence, permit or other authority issued or given under a regulation, may be granted, made, issued or given only—
by the chief executive with the consent of the Indigenous landholder for the land; or
by the Indigenous landholder for the land with the consent of the chief executive.
A lease, agreement, licence, permit or other authority mentioned in subsection (1) must be consistent with—
the management principles and any management plan for the national park (Cape York Peninsula Aboriginal land); and
any Indigenous land use agreement for the land; and
the Indigenous management agreement for the land.
If a lease is granted under subsection (1) , the chief executive must, as soon as practicable after the grant, lodge the lease with the registrar of titles for registration.

(sec.42AD-ssec.1) A lease, agreement, licence, permit or other authority over, or in relation to, land in a national park (Cape York Peninsula Aboriginal land), other than an agreement or a licence, permit or other authority issued or given under a regulation, may be granted, made, issued or given only— by the chief executive with the consent of the Indigenous landholder for the land; or by the Indigenous landholder for the land with the consent of the chief executive.
(sec.42AD-ssec.2) A lease, agreement, licence, permit or other authority mentioned in subsection (1) must be consistent with— the management principles and any management plan for the national park (Cape York Peninsula Aboriginal land); and any Indigenous land use agreement for the land; and the Indigenous management agreement for the land.
(sec.42AD-ssec.3) If a lease is granted under subsection (1) , the chief executive must, as soon as practicable after the grant, lodge the lease with the registrar of titles for registration.
- (a) by the chief executive with the consent of the Indigenous landholder for the land; or
- (b) by the Indigenous landholder for the land with the consent of the chief executive.
