### sec.143A False or misleading documents
A person must not give an authorised person a document containing information that the person knows is false, misleading or incomplete in a material particular without—
indicating to the authorised person that the document is false, misleading or incomplete and the respect in which the document is false, misleading or incomplete; and
giving the correct information to the authorised person if the person has, or can reasonably obtain, the correct information.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
Subsection (1) applies in relation to a document given to an authorised person by any means, including by using an electronic system.

(sec.143A-ssec.2) Subsection (1) applies in relation to a document given to an authorised person by any means, including by using an electronic system. See also section 157 in relation to making a false or misleading statement to a conservation officer.
- (a) indicating to the authorised person that the document is false, misleading or incomplete and the respect in which the document is false, misleading or incomplete; and
- (b) giving the correct information to the authorised person if the person has, or can reasonably obtain, the correct information.
