### sec.143 Immunity from prosecution
A conservation officer is not liable to be prosecuted for an offence against this Act for anything done or omitted to be done—
under the direction of the Minister or chief executive; or
in the exercise of a power or performance of a function conferred or imposed on the officer under this Act.
A person acting under the direction of the Minister, chief executive or a conservation officer is not liable to be prosecuted for an offence against this Act for anything done or omitted to be done under the direction.

(sec.143-ssec.1) A conservation officer is not liable to be prosecuted for an offence against this Act for anything done or omitted to be done— under the direction of the Minister or chief executive; or in the exercise of a power or performance of a function conferred or imposed on the officer under this Act.
(sec.143-ssec.2) A person acting under the direction of the Minister, chief executive or a conservation officer is not liable to be prosecuted for an offence against this Act for anything done or omitted to be done under the direction.
- (a) under the direction of the Minister or chief executive; or
- (b) in the exercise of a power or performance of a function conferred or imposed on the officer under this Act.
