### sec.334L Suspension or waiver of reporting obligations
During the moratorium period a reporting obligation of the holder of an oil shale mining tenement for the land is suspended to the extent it relates to oil shale activities.
Subsection (3) applies if the Minister is satisfied authorised activities have not been, or will not be, carried out for the mining tenement during all or any part of the current term of the mining tenement.
The Minister may, by written notice to the holder, waive the reporting obligation of the holder for all or any part of the current term of the mining tenement.
In this section—
reporting obligation means an obligation under this Act or a condition of the mining tenement to submit reports to the Minister about authorised activities for the mining tenement.

(sec.334L-ssec.1) During the moratorium period a reporting obligation of the holder of an oil shale mining tenement for the land is suspended to the extent it relates to oil shale activities.
