### sec.42 Right to give waiver of entry notice
An owner or occupier of land may give a waiver of entry notice for an entry made to the land for a purpose mentioned in section 38 .
A waiver of an entry notice—
is invalid if it does not comply with the prescribed requirements for the notice; and
can not be withdrawn during the notified period; and
ceases to have effect at the end of the notified period.
In this section—
notified period , for a waiver of entry notice, means the period stated in the notice as the period during which the land may be entered.
(sec.42-ssec.1) An owner or occupier of land may give a waiver of entry notice for an entry made to the land for a purpose mentioned in section 38 .
(sec.42-ssec.2) A waiver of an entry notice— is invalid if it does not comply with the prescribed requirements for the notice; and can not be withdrawn during the notified period; and ceases to have effect at the end of the notified period.
(sec.42-ssec.3) In this section— notified period , for a waiver of entry notice, means the period stated in the notice as the period during which the land may be entered.
- (a) is invalid if it does not comply with the prescribed requirements for the notice; and
- (b) can not be withdrawn during the notified period; and
- (c) ceases to have effect at the end of the notified period.
