### sec.221 Existing waiver of entry notices
This section applies to a waiver of entry notice given to a resource authority holder under a pre-amended Resource Act and in force immediately before the commencement.
The notice continues in force after the commencement and is taken to be—
if the notice is given in relation to entry to private land—a waiver of entry notice given under section 42; or
if the notice is given in relation to entry to public land—a waiver of entry notice given under section 60.
The notice is valid even if the notice does not comply with a prescribed requirement under section 42(2)(a) or 60(2)(a).
