### sec.196P Arbitrator’s functions The arbitrator has authority to decide the dispute by the issuance of an award. However, the arbitrator may decide a matter the subject of the dispute only to the extent it is not subject to a conduct and compensation agreement between the parties. The award must be made within 6 months after the appointment of the arbitrator. s 196P ins 2024 No. 33 s 88 (sec.196P-ssec.1) The arbitrator has authority to decide the dispute by the issuance of an award.
