### sec.57 Mandatory conditions of agreement
This section applies if the chief executive reasonably believes a commercial activity agreement should be subject to a condition that will assist in achieving the purpose of the Act .
See section 5 of the Act for the Act ’s purpose and how it is to be achieved.
The chief executive must not enter into the agreement unless—
the agreement is made subject to the condition; and
the agreement identifies the condition as a conservation condition and states that a breach of the condition is an offence against section 58 .
(sec.57-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive reasonably believes a commercial activity agreement should be subject to a condition that will assist in achieving the purpose of the Act . See section 5 of the Act for the Act ’s purpose and how it is to be achieved.
(sec.57-ssec.2) The chief executive must not enter into the agreement unless— the agreement is made subject to the condition; and the agreement identifies the condition as a conservation condition and states that a breach of the condition is an offence against section 58 .
