### sec.23 Contracting out prohibited An agreement is void to the extent to which it purports to exclude, change or restrict the application or operation of a provision of this Act about the terms of a site agreement. A person must not enter into an agreement with the intention, directly or indirectly, of defeating the operation of this Act. Maximum penalty—200 penalty units. In this section— agreement includes arrangement. defeating includes evading and preventing.
