### sec.59 Offence
Any person who fails to comply with any requirement of this division or of any attachment of earnings order under this division that is applicable to the person shall be guilty of an offence against this Act.
Maximum penalty—$200 or 6 months imprisonment.
It is a sufficient defence to a person charged with an offence arising under subsection (1) if the person proves that he or she took all reasonable steps to comply with the requirement or attachment of earnings order.
