### sec.109 Proof of marriage etc.
Where it is necessary for the purposes of obtaining an order under this Act to prove a marriage, the order shall not be made unless—
direct evidence of the marriage is produced to the court; or
evidence on oath is given of the time, place and circumstances of the marriage.
In proceedings under this Act, the court may receive as evidence of the facts stated in it a document purporting to be either the original or a certified copy of or extract from a certificate, entry or record of a birth, adoption, death, or marriage alleged to have taken place, whether in Queensland or elsewhere.

- (a) direct evidence of the marriage is produced to the court; or
