### sec.26 Copy of show cause notice to be given to interested persons
The Minister must promptly give a copy of the show cause notice to each person (an interested person ) the Minister believes has an interest in the primary licence if the Minister considers—
the person’s interest may be affected adversely by the suspension, cancellation or amendment of the licence; and
it is otherwise appropriate in the circumstances to give the copy of the notice to the person.
In considering whether it is appropriate to give a copy of the show cause notice to an interested person, the issues to which the Minister may have regard include the following—
the nature of the interested person’s interest;
whether the primary licensee’s interest may be improperly prejudiced.
Without limiting subsection (1) , a person is an interested person if a lottery operation agreement between the person and the primary licensee is in force.
An interested person to whom a copy of the show cause notice is given may make representations about the notice to the Minister in the show cause period.
