### sec.116 Ancillary lottery agreement
An ancillary lottery agreement is an agreement, contract, lease or arrangement (whether written or unwritten) under which a person agrees to provide to a lottery operator a thing or service in return for a direct or indirect interest in, or percentage or share of—
amounts received by the lottery operator in conducting approved lotteries; or
the revenue, profit or earnings derived by the lottery operator in conducting approved lotteries.
However, an ancillary lottery agreement does not include an agency agreement or a lottery operation agreement.
A lottery operator must not enter into, or be a party to, an ancillary lottery agreement without the written approval of the Minister.
Maximum penalty for subsection (3) —40 penalty units.
