### sec.92 Land owner’s appeal against decision
This section applies if the owner of rateable land wants to appeal against a decision of—
the local government not to allow a longer period for giving an objection notice; or
the chief executive officer on the owner’s objection to the rating category for the land.
The owner may appeal by filing an appeal notice in the Land Court registry, within 42 days after the day when the owner received notice of the decision.
The appeal notice must be in the form approved by the Land Court.
The owner must give a copy of the filed appeal notice to the local government, within 7 days after the appeal notice was filed.
If the owner fails to do so, it does not affect the making of the appeal, or the jurisdiction of the Land Court to decide the appeal, but the court may award costs against the owner for any adjournment that is caused by the owner’s failure.
