### sec.254G Advisory committees exempted from taking minutes
A local government may, by resolution, exempt an advisory committee from the requirement to take minutes of its proceedings.
If a local government exempts an advisory committee under subsection (1) —
section 254F does not apply to the committee; and
the committee must give the local government a written report of the committee’s deliberations and its advice or recommendations; and
for section 150FA (2) or (4) of the Act , the way prescribed is by including the information in a written statement given to the local government.

(sec.254G-ssec.1) A local government may, by resolution, exempt an advisory committee from the requirement to take minutes of its proceedings.
