### sec.106AA When candidate is individual candidate
A candidate in an election is an individual candidate for any part of the capped expenditure period for the election during which the candidate—
is not a member of a group of candidates for the election; and
is not endorsed by a registered political party for the election.
Without limiting subsection (1) , a candidate in an election may be an individual candidate during 1 or more parts, but not all, of the capped expenditure period for the election.

(sec.106AA-ssec.1) A candidate in an election is an individual candidate for any part of the capped expenditure period for the election during which the candidate— is not a member of a group of candidates for the election; and is not endorsed by a registered political party for the election.
(sec.106AA-ssec.2) Without limiting subsection (1) , a candidate in an election may be an individual candidate during 1 or more parts, but not all, of the capped expenditure period for the election.
- (a) is not a member of a group of candidates for the election; and
- (b) is not endorsed by a registered political party for the election.
