### sec.237A Name in proceedings by or against a joint local government
A proceeding by a joint local government must be started in the name of the joint local government.
However, a joint local government may start a proceeding under the Justices Act 1886 in the name of a joint local government employee who is a public officer within the meaning of that Act.
A proceeding against a joint local government must be started against the joint local government in its name.

(sec.237A-ssec.1) A proceeding by a joint local government must be started in the name of the joint local government.
