### sec.150DS Acting president
The deputy president may act as the president for a period of not more than 6 months during—
a vacancy in the office of the president; or
a period the president is absent, or can not perform the duties of the office because of a conflict of interest or for any other reason.
The Minister may appoint a casual member to act as the president for no more than 3 months in a 12-month period if—
the office of deputy president is vacant; or
the deputy president is absent or can not perform the duties of the office because of a conflict of interest or for any other reason.
