### sec.209 Payment of fees by instalments
Subsection (2) applies if the commissioner is satisfied a licensee is unable to pay in full, on the day prescribed under a regulation, the fee payable in relation to a licence because—
the business conducted under authority of the licence has been adversely affected by a natural disaster; or
the licensee has suffered a personal or financial hardship.
Despite section 208 (2) , the commissioner may accept payment of the fee under a schedule of instalments decided by the commissioner.
If the licensee pays the fee in accordance with the schedule of instalments—
the licensee is taken to have paid the fee by the day prescribed for section 208 (2) ; and
the consequences of failing to pay the fee, provided for under a regulation, do not apply to the licensee.
