### sec.208 Payment of fees
The fee in respect of a permit is due and payable to the department on the day application for the permit is made.
A fee payable in relation to a licence is payable to the department on the day prescribed under a regulation.
A regulation may make provision for—
the consequences of failing to pay a fee mentioned in subsection (2) ; and
the application by a person to the tribunal, and the powers of the tribunal, in relation to the failure to pay the fee.
