### sec.174 Investigators
The commissioner may authorise a person, or a class of persons, to exercise—
all the powers conferred by this Act on an investigator; or
any powers conferred by this Act on an investigator.
The commissioner must issue an identity card to a person authorised under subsection (1) (the investigator ).
The identity card must—
contain a recent photograph of the investigator; and
be in a form approved by the commissioner.
If the investigator ceases to be authorised under subsection (1) , the investigator must, as soon as practicable, return his or her identity card to the commissioner.
Maximum penalty—25 penalty units.

(sec.174-ssec.1) The commissioner may authorise a person, or a class of persons, to exercise— all the powers conferred by this Act on an investigator; or any powers conferred by this Act on an investigator.
(sec.174-ssec.2) The commissioner must issue an identity card to a person authorised under subsection (1) (the investigator ).
(sec.174-ssec.3) The identity card must— contain a recent photograph of the investigator; and be in a form approved by the commissioner.
(sec.174-ssec.4) If the investigator ceases to be authorised under subsection (1) , the investigator must, as soon as practicable, return his or her identity card to the commissioner. Maximum penalty—25 penalty units.
- (a) all the powers conferred by this Act on an investigator; or
- (b) any powers conferred by this Act on an investigator.
- (a) contain a recent photograph of the investigator; and
- (b) be in a form approved by the commissioner.
