### sec.699 Starting proceedings
The secretary, or another person authorised by resolution of the law society, may start, carry on and defend any proceeding in the name of the law society.
In any proceeding on behalf of the law society, it is not necessary to prove the election or appointment of the presidential members, another council member or the secretary.
