### sec.640 Conduct of committee for hearing and deciding discipline applications
To the extent a matter about the committee’s procedure is not provided for by this Act or a regulation, the matter may be dealt with by directions under this section.
The chairperson may issue directions of general application about the committee’s procedures.
The committee may issue particular directions for a hearing.
Despite section 639 (2) , the committee may be constituted by the chairperson or deputy chairperson of the committee for the purpose of issuing particular directions for a hearing.
