### sec.589 Resignation of commissioner
The commissioner may resign by giving a signed notice of resignation to the Minister.
A notice of resignation under subsection (1) takes effect when the notice is given to the Minister or, if a later time is stated in the notice, the later time.
(sec.589-ssec.1) The commissioner may resign by giving a signed notice of resignation to the Minister.
