### sec.586 Remuneration and conditions
The commissioner is entitled to be paid the remuneration and allowances decided by the Governor in Council.
The commissioner holds office—
on the conditions stated in this Act; and
on other conditions decided by the Minister.
In this section—
commissioner includes a person appointed to act as commissioner under section 587 .
(sec.586-ssec.1) The commissioner is entitled to be paid the remuneration and allowances decided by the Governor in Council.
(sec.586-ssec.2) The commissioner holds office— on the conditions stated in this Act; and on other conditions decided by the Minister.
(sec.586-ssec.3) In this section— commissioner includes a person appointed to act as commissioner under section 587 .
- (a) on the conditions stated in this Act; and
- (b) on other conditions decided by the Minister.
