### sec.581 Return of identity card A person who ceases to be an investigator must return the person’s identity card within 21 days after ceasing to be an investigator, unless the person has a reasonable excuse, to— if the investigator was appointed by a regulatory authority—the authority; or otherwise—the commissioner. Maximum penalty—10 penalty units. - (a) if the investigator was appointed by a regulatory authority—the authority; or - (b) otherwise—the commissioner.
