### sec.580 Resignation An investigator may resign by signed notice given to— if the investigator was appointed by a regulatory authority—the authority; or otherwise—the commissioner. - (a) if the investigator was appointed by a regulatory authority—the authority; or - (b) otherwise—the commissioner.
