### sec.577 Issue of identity card
If the commissioner or a regulatory authority appoints a person as an investigator, the commissioner or the authority appointing the person must issue an identity card to the person.
The identity card must—
contain a recent photo of the investigator; and
contain a copy of the investigator’s signature; and
identify the person as an investigator under this Act; and
state an expiry date for the card.
This section does not prevent the issue of a single identity card to a person for this Act and other purposes.
(sec.577-ssec.1) If the commissioner or a regulatory authority appoints a person as an investigator, the commissioner or the authority appointing the person must issue an identity card to the person.
(sec.577-ssec.2) The identity card must— contain a recent photo of the investigator; and contain a copy of the investigator’s signature; and identify the person as an investigator under this Act; and state an expiry date for the card.
