### sec.576 Appointment conditions and limit on powers An investigator holds office on any conditions stated in— the investigator’s instrument of appointment; or a signed notice given to the investigator; or a regulation. The instrument of appointment, a signed notice given to the investigator or a regulation may limit the investigator’s powers under this Act. In this section— signed notice means a notice signed by the commissioner.
