### sec.482 Cooperation with other authorities
This section applies when a prescribed entity is dealing with a complaint or investigating an investigation matter.
The prescribed entity may, either separately or jointly with another prescribed entity or prescribed entities, consult and cooperate with another person or body, whether in Australia or a foreign county, who or that has or may have relevant information or powers in relation to the person against whom the complaint was made or the person under investigation.
For subsection (2) , the prescribed entity and the other person or body may exchange information concerning the complaint or investigation.
In this section—
prescribed entity means an entity to which section 481 applies.
(sec.482-ssec.1) This section applies when a prescribed entity is dealing with a complaint or investigating an investigation matter.
(sec.482-ssec.2) The prescribed entity may, either separately or jointly with another prescribed entity or prescribed entities, consult and cooperate with another person or body, whether in Australia or a foreign county, who or that has or may have relevant information or powers in relation to the person against whom the complaint was made or the person under investigation.
(sec.482-ssec.3) For subsection (2) , the prescribed entity and the other person or body may exchange information concerning the complaint or investigation.
(sec.482-ssec.4) In this section— prescribed entity means an entity to which section 481 applies.
