### sec.441 Mediation of complaint involving consumer dispute solely
This section applies to a complaint that involves a consumer dispute.
The commissioner may—
suggest to the complainant and the respondent that they enter into a process of mediation; and
refer the matter to the relevant regulatory authority to see if the authority may help in the mediation or otherwise in the resolution of the complaint.
The commissioner is then not required to take further action on the complaint.
(sec.441-ssec.1) This section applies to a complaint that involves a consumer dispute.
(sec.441-ssec.2) The commissioner may— suggest to the complainant and the respondent that they enter into a process of mediation; and refer the matter to the relevant regulatory authority to see if the authority may help in the mediation or otherwise in the resolution of the complaint.
(sec.441-ssec.3) The commissioner is then not required to take further action on the complaint.
