26 Admission
(1) A person may apply to the Supreme Court to be admitted as a lawyer.
(2) The Supreme Court may admit the person as a lawyer if satisfied that
the person—
(a) is eligible for admission to the legal profession; and
(b) is a fit and proper person to be admitted to the legal profession.
(3) The Supreme Court may refuse—
(a) to consider the application if it is not made in accordance with
the admission rules; or
(b) to admit the person if the person has not complied with the
admission rules.
(4) In making a decision under this section in relation to the application,
the Supreme Court must consider, and may rely on, the admissions
board’s advice in relation to the application.
