### sec.49 Functions and powers of registrar and deputy registrars
The registrar and deputy registrars have the functions given under this Act or another Act.
The registrar and deputy registrars have the power to do all things necessary or convenient to be done to perform the functions.
The registrar or a deputy registrar must not exercise a judicial or quasi-judicial power.
(sec.49-ssec.1) The registrar and deputy registrars have the functions given under this Act or another Act.
