### sec.84 Surrender of land still needed for a public purpose
The trustees of land granted for an estate in fee simple for some community, public or similar purpose may apply to the Minister to surrender the land to the State, and for the issue of a deed of grant in trust under this Act for a community or public purpose, if—
the land has been used for a public, community or similar purpose; but
it is not known under what authority the trust was created over the land.
If the Minister is satisfied that the trustees are deceased, untraceable, unknown or incapable of acting, a person in the community concerned may make the application.
(sec.84-ssec.1) The trustees of land granted for an estate in fee simple for some community, public or similar purpose may apply to the Minister to surrender the land to the State, and for the issue of a deed of grant in trust under this Act for a community or public purpose, if— the land has been used for a public, community or similar purpose; but it is not known under what authority the trust was created over the land.
