### sec.55D Registration surrenders deed of grant in trust
All or part of a deed of grant in trust may be surrendered by registering a surrender notice or plan of subdivision.
However, if the surrender relates to only part of a lot, the surrender may only be made by registering a plan of subdivision.
The surrender of all or part of a deed of grant in trust takes effect on the day a surrender notice or plan of subdivision is registered.
The Land Title Act 1994 , section 50 , and the provisions of the Planning Act about reconfiguring a lot do not apply to a plan of subdivision registered to give effect to a surrender under this section.
