### sec.55 Power to surrender deed of grant in trust
A trustee may surrender all or part of a deed of grant in trust—
on terms agreed to between the Minister and the trustee; and
with the Minister’s written approval.
If part of the land is surrendered, the deed of grant in trust remains in force for the land not surrendered and the registrar of titles must make an appropriate recording in the freehold land register.

(sec.55-ssec.1) A trustee may surrender all or part of a deed of grant in trust— on terms agreed to between the Minister and the trustee; and with the Minister’s written approval.
(sec.55-ssec.2) If part of the land is surrendered, the deed of grant in trust remains in force for the land not surrendered and the registrar of titles must make an appropriate recording in the freehold land register.
- (a) on terms agreed to between the Minister and the trustee; and
