### sec.379 Registering beneficiary
A person who is beneficially entitled under a will to a lease, sublease or licence of a deceased lessee, sublessee or licensee may apply to the registrar of titles to be registered as lessee, sublessee or licensee.
However, the registrar of titles may register the person only if—
written consent is given by—
the person who is or is entitled to be the deceased’s personal representative; or
a person the registrar considers would succeed in an application for a grant of representation; or
a person who has obtained a grant of representation other than in Queensland and the registrar considers would succeed in an application for the resealing of the grant in Queensland; and
the person satisfies the registrar the person is beneficially entitled to the lease, sublease or licence.

(sec.379-ssec.1) A person who is beneficially entitled under a will to a lease, sublease or licence of a deceased lessee, sublessee or licensee may apply to the registrar of titles to be registered as lessee, sublessee or licensee.
(sec.379-ssec.2) However, the registrar of titles may register the person only if— written consent is given by— the person who is or is entitled to be the deceased’s personal representative; or a person the registrar considers would succeed in an application for a grant of representation; or a person who has obtained a grant of representation other than in Queensland and the registrar considers would succeed in an application for the resealing of the grant in Queensland; and the person satisfies the registrar the person is beneficially entitled to the lease, sublease or licence.
- (a) written consent is given by— (i) the person who is or is entitled to be the deceased’s personal representative; or (ii) a person the registrar considers would succeed in an application for a grant of representation; or (iii) a person who has obtained a grant of representation other than in Queensland and the registrar considers would succeed in an application for the resealing of the grant in Queensland; and
- (i) the person who is or is entitled to be the deceased’s personal representative; or
- (ii) a person the registrar considers would succeed in an application for a grant of representation; or
- (iii) a person who has obtained a grant of representation other than in Queensland and the registrar considers would succeed in an application for the resealing of the grant in Queensland; and
- (b) the person satisfies the registrar the person is beneficially entitled to the lease, sublease or licence.
- (i) the person who is or is entitled to be the deceased’s personal representative; or
- (ii) a person the registrar considers would succeed in an application for a grant of representation; or
- (iii) a person who has obtained a grant of representation other than in Queensland and the registrar considers would succeed in an application for the resealing of the grant in Queensland; and
