### sec.373ZH Surrendering or removing interest
On lodgement of a document surrendering an indigenous cultural interest for land, the registrar of titles may register the surrender to the extent shown in the document.
On registration of the document, the indigenous cultural interest is surrendered to the extent shown in the document.
The registrar of titles may remove an indigenous cultural interest for land from the appropriate register if—
a request to remove the interest is lodged and the request establishes that an event on which the interest was intended to end has happened; or
the registrar receives a request to remove the interest under an Act of the Commonwealth.

(sec.373ZH-ssec.1) On lodgement of a document surrendering an indigenous cultural interest for land, the registrar of titles may register the surrender to the extent shown in the document.
(sec.373ZH-ssec.2) On registration of the document, the indigenous cultural interest is surrendered to the extent shown in the document.
(sec.373ZH-ssec.3) The registrar of titles may remove an indigenous cultural interest for land from the appropriate register if— a request to remove the interest is lodged and the request establishes that an event on which the interest was intended to end has happened; or the registrar receives a request to remove the interest under an Act of the Commonwealth.
- (a) a request to remove the interest is lodged and the request establishes that an event on which the interest was intended to end has happened; or
- (b) the registrar receives a request to remove the interest under an Act of the Commonwealth.
