### sec.327D Minister may require report and other information
This section applies if a lessee makes an application under section 327C (1) to surrender all or part of a lease.
The Minister may, by notice given to the lessee, require the lessee, within a stated reasonable period, to give the Minister a report that states the following information for each building or other structure on the lease land—
the nature of the building or structure;
the condition of the building or structure;
the location of the building or structure;
whether, if the lease is surrendered, the lessee proposes to apply under section 327I (1) to remove the building or structure.
The Minister may also, by notice given to the lessee, require the lessee, within a stated reasonable period, to—
give the Minister information, or further information, about a building or other structure on the lease land; or
give the Minister a report, prepared by a person with a stated qualification or expertise and at the lessee’s expense, about the condition of the buildings and other structures on the lease land.
If the lessee fails to comply with a requirement made under subsection (3) (b) —
the Minister may obtain the report; and
the cost of obtaining the report may be recovered from the lessee as a debt due to the State.

(sec.327D-ssec.1) This section applies if a lessee makes an application under section 327C (1) to surrender all or part of a lease.
(sec.327D-ssec.2) The Minister may, by notice given to the lessee, require the lessee, within a stated reasonable period, to give the Minister a report that states the following information for each building or other structure on the lease land— the nature of the building or structure; the condition of the building or structure; the location of the building or structure; whether, if the lease is surrendered, the lessee proposes to apply under section 327I (1) to remove the building or structure.
