### sec.204 Survey condition
A lease, licence or permit may be subject to a condition (a survey condition ) that the land must be surveyed under the Survey and Mapping Infrastructure Act 2003 by, and at the cost of, the lessee, licensee or permittee.
A survey condition may set a time within which the survey plan must be lodged in the land registry.
If the person is able to demonstrate a good reason for not complying with a survey condition within the time stated, the Minister may extend the time.
If a person does not comply with subsection (2) , the Minister may arrange for the survey to be carried out or finished and charge the person the cost of the survey.
