### sec.180E Notice about cancellation or surrender
The chief executive must give notice about the cancellation or surrender of a permit to—
if the permit is cancelled—
the applicant; and
each entity given a notice under section 180A ; and
if the permit is surrendered—each entity with a registered interest in the permit land.
The notice under subsection (1) must state all of the following—
the day the cancellation or surrender has effect;
that the permit is ended and the permittee is divested of any interest in the permit land;
if the notice is about the cancellation of a permit—no compensation is payable for the cancellation;
if there are improvements on the permit land owned by the permittee—that the permittee may apply to remove the improvements.
If the chief executive decides not to cancel or surrender a permit, notice of the fact must be given to—
the permittee; and
if the application was to cancel the permit—each entity given a notice under section 180A .

- (a) if the permit is cancelled— (i) the applicant; and (ii) each entity given a notice under section 180A ; and
- (i) the applicant; and
- (ii) each entity given a notice under section 180A ; and
- (b) if the permit is surrendered—each entity with a registered interest in the permit land.
- (i) the applicant; and
- (ii) each entity given a notice under section 180A ; and
- (a) the day the cancellation or surrender has effect;
- (b) that the permit is ended and the permittee is divested of any interest in the permit land;
- (c) if the notice is about the cancellation of a permit—no compensation is payable for the cancellation;
