### sec.180D When cancellation or surrender is effective
A permit may be cancelled by registering a cancellation notice for the permit.
A permit may be surrendered by registering a surrender notice for the permit.
The cancellation or surrender takes effect on the day the cancellation notice or surrender notice is registered.
