### sec.105 Cancellation or surrender of road licence
The Minister may cancel all or part of a road licence after giving the licensee reasonable notice of the Minister’s intention to cancel.
No compensation is payable for the cancellation of a road licence.
A licensee, with the Minister’s written approval, may surrender all or part of a road licence.
If a road licence is cancelled or surrendered, any improvements on the road become the property of the State and no compensation is payable.
However, the Minister may allow the licensee to remove any improvements within the time stated on the cancellation notice or the surrender approval.
If a road licence is cancelled or surrendered, the road is reopened.
