### sec.237 Power of court or judge to grant bail
When any person committed to prison by virtue of a summary conviction or order is brought up by writ of habeas corpus, and the court or judge postpones the final decision of the case, such court or judge may grant the person bail.
If the judgment of the court or judge is against any person so brought up, the court or judge may remand the person to the person’s former custody, there to serve the rest of the term for which the person was committed.

(sec.237-ssec.1) When any person committed to prison by virtue of a summary conviction or order is brought up by writ of habeas corpus, and the court or judge postpones the final decision of the case, such court or judge may grant the person bail.
(sec.237-ssec.2) If the judgment of the court or judge is against any person so brought up, the court or judge may remand the person to the person’s former custody, there to serve the rest of the term for which the person was committed.
