### sec.236 Notice dispensed with
The notice hereby prescribed may be given either before or after the issue of the writ of habeas corpus or a certiorari order (within the meaning of the Judicial Review Act 1991 ).
However, when copies of the conviction or order and depositions are produced at the time of applying for the writ, the court or judge may dispense with such notice.
